One of the major skills that is addressed by the English test is Subject-Verb agreement.
Remember the following-
1. Subject and verb must agree in NUMBER, singular or plural
2. To find the subject, ask: Who is performing the action of the verb.
3. Ignore interrupting phrases and prepositional phrases.
4. One verb can have multiple subjects; one subject can have multiple verbs.
